Sports with Coleman – Wednesday December 30

After a few weeks off, our weekly webcast with Kevin Cowherd has returned with a fury. This week, we talked about the penalties the Ravens have been getting as well as their chances at Oakland this weekend. Here’s how it went.

Today on Sports with Coleman, we were joined by hockey commentator and former NHL player and coach Ed Olczyk. Ed will be calling the 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on NBC this Friday (New Year’s Day). The game will pit the Philadelphia Flyers against the Boston Bruins and will be played in the confines of Fenway Park. This will be the third year for the Winter Classic. We talked with Ed about the preparation for the game, the chance for snow and the expected interest from non-hockey fans. Great stuff, you’ll have to hear what Ed had to say. We also talked with the Baltimore Ravens’ Ed Reed. As we here at Sports with Coleman are the only radio station out at Ravens camp each day, you’ll only hear what Ed had to say here at sportswithcoleman.com. And some great stuff from the safety. We talked with Ed about making the Pro Bowl as well as injuries that have kept him out of the last few games. Ed also clears up a report that there was a disagreement between himself and John Harbaugh regarding his playing this past Sunday. Check it out. Ed Reed – December 30, 2009
